About your private Spanish tutor

I am originally from Spain and a language learner too! So, I know exactly how you feel when you start learning a language; I have been there. I can also speak Catalan, and English. On a personal level, I am very flexible, patient, and very enthusiastic. I provide a relaxed and friendly environment, so you will feel confident speaking the language.

Our first lesson is free, and we will discuss a plan, look at some goals, and talk about your needs and interests.

About your one to one Spanish lesson

My approach is flexible, and all my lessons are tailored based on your interests and motivation. I teach practical Spanish to adults, and as a language learner, I understand how difficult it can be to learn a language as an adult and how students feel when presented with grammar and new vocabulary. I will explain grammar and vocabulary with lots of examples and visuals.

My Online and in-person Spanish lessons are varied and involve real-time interaction with me, with practice exercises. You will have the opportunity to practice the four skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. I use videos, PowerPoint presentations, and other materials.

The class environment is friendly and relaxed, and I am completely flexible to adapt to your needs.

In every lesson, we will look at a new topic, and you will practise the new vocabulary and revise some grammar. You will have lots of time to practise.

This course will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses. You will see how the 60 min will go super fast and how after 10 lessons you have learnt lots.

You know more than you think (intermediate 30-30 conversation)

When you speak do you think you don’t know enough Spanish vocabulary and are conscious that what you are saying is wrong? I felt the same! I am here to help you because YOU KNOW MORE WORDS THAN YOU THINK.

Let’s overcome these barriers with a tailored 30-minute Spanish conversation lesson. We choose the topic in advance, I present some new vocabulary, and you learn and/or revisit grammar and new phrases for 30 minutes.

Then, you practice what you’ve learned for the other 30. This is a nice and gentle way to practise Spanish without feeling overwhelmed.

Quiero hablar más (advanced conversation)

Sí. And you will for 60 min! Prepare to dive into conversations where we will exchange opinions on current affairs, narrate real or fictional stories from the past, talk about your favourite things, or just general chit-chat. You are in charge and I will listen and correct.

These lessons are ideal for those who are at B2 (intermediate level) and C1-C2 (advanced level) and feel comfortable speaking in Spanish but wish to learn more idiomatic phrases, culture aspects and revisit some advanced grammar.
